Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on the status of your order and the type of service purchased:

  • Before filing: If your documents have not yet been submitted to the state or relevant agency, you are eligible for a full refund of our service fee.
  • After filing: Once documents have been submitted to the state, our service fee is non-refundable, as the work has been completed on our end. State filing fees paid directly to government agencies are non-refundable.
  • Registered agent services: Registered agent service fees are non-refundable once the registered agent designation has been filed with the state.
  • Rush or expedited processing: Rush processing fees are non-refundable once the expedited order has been placed with the state.

State Filing Fees

State filing fees are collected on behalf of government agencies and are paid directly to the state. These fees are non-refundable by Kick Start Companies regardless of order status. If a state agency issues a refund for a rejected filing, we will pass that refund through to you minus any processing costs incurred.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our support team using one of the following methods:

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may delay the resolution process.
